The San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) has committed to project-basing 100 vouchers to create new units of permanent supportive housing for highly vulnerable households.
In order to learn more about the process and best practices, SAHA contracted with CSH to conduct a training for their Section 8 team on project-basing. At CSH’s training, staff learned about best practices in supportive housing, discussed each of the key regulations related to project-basing in supportive housing, and provided input for the criteria that will be used to select owners and service providers for their subsidies.
