First Place Fund for Youth

Founded in 1998, the First Place Fund for Youth provides forty-five youth in Oakland, CA with scattered site apartments that include a decreasing rent subsidy over a two year period.  After two years, services end and the tenant has the option of taking over the lease and paying market-rate rent.
