Supportive Services Transformation Fund
The Supportive Services Transformation Fund (SSTF) funds services that help people stay housed, access healthcare and counseling, support their families, and rebuild their lives—shifting resources away from costly crisis systems and toward lasting stability.
How does the SSTF work?
- Funds critical support services that aren’t covered by Medicaid.
- Improves the timeliness and coordination of services to make service delivery more efficient & effective.

States that invest in a supportive services fund have seen residents stay housed and achieve long-term stability.
But across the country, providers are facing a severe shortage in funding to pay their staff and meet the growing needs of their communities. The SSTF fills this funding gap by creating a sustainable source of funding for critical supportive services.
