The CSH One Roof Leadership Institute for Supportive Housing & Child Welfare Partnerships is a national cohort of five communities from the states of Washington, California, Illinois, Missouri, and Maryland/D.C. Utilizing CSH expertise, these communities are developing child welfare and supportive housing collaborations to create new supportive housing for child welfare involved families.
Each community was invited to apply to the Institute after completing the One Roof Keeping Families Together Training Academy, and being identified and ranked by CSH for their strengths and opportunities.
As a part of the Leadership Institute, community teams will work with CSH to develop an action plan to move through the various stages of the Supportive Housing and Child Welfare Roadmap.
CSH will assist in the development of an individualized action plan and provide technical assistance to assist communities working through such plans. Within the Leadership Institute, teams receive the following package of services and support from CSH:
- One-on-one technical assistance for 6 – 9 months to work toward an action plan.
- Peer discussions on topics of shared interest and need across all five sites.
- Participation in the 2018 Child Welfare and Supportive Housing Leadership Forum tentatively slated for Los Angeles, CA.
CSH One Roof is excited to work with these five communities to ensure supportive housing meets the needs of child welfare involved families, especially those facing homelessness.
