CSH Statement on New York City Affordable Housing Plan

Earlier this week New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio released his ten year affordable housing plan with a goal of adding 200,000 units of affordable housing across New York’s five boroughs. The Mayor’s plan also includes supportive housing.

“CSH commends Mayor de Blasio and his administration on the release of his unprecedented plan for creating and preserving 200,000 units of affordable housing in the City of New York. We especially applaud the Mayor for including supportive housing and recognizing the need to provide affordable housing with support services for our most vulnerable New Yorkers. CSH looks forward to assisting the administration and our housing partners in implementing this exciting initiative.”

The Mayor’s full plan is available here.

CSH will continue to provide updates on the city’s progress to provide supportive housing for our most vulnerable individuals and families through The Pipeline, Homefront and our Facebook and Twitter feeds. Join the online conversation!
