In Minnesota, CSH has provided technical assistance and $13 million in funding to develop nearly 3,000 new units of supportive housing.
CSH brought together many resources from the supportive housing industry for a two-day conference!
In 2006, CSH collaborated with Tribal Nations to implement the first-ever homeless survey to quantify the scale and scope of homelessness among American Indians living on tribal lands.
In 2010, in cooperation with local housing and service providers as well as public agencies, CSH launched our Veterans Experiencing Homelessness Initiative, an attempt to combat homelessness among veterans throughout the Minnesota.
CSH is proud that this partnership among tribal leaders, state and federal government representatives, and American Indian nonprofits and community members has garnered national attention.
As part of Returning Home, with support from the County Community Corrections and Office to End Homelessness, CSH has worked with local provider St. Stephen's Human Services in Hennepin County to implement the FUSE program and place 75 people into supportive housing.
