CSH Honors the Legacy of Founding Board Chair, Richard Ravitch

CSH Board of Directors and staff are saddened by the passing of Richard Ravitch, who was the founding Board Chair, serving in this role for nearly a decade. He passed away at a hospital in New York City on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Mr. Ravitch guided CSH and the supportive housing concept to become a national, research-based model that has helped thousands to achieve stability and a home.

We extend our deepest sympathy to Mr. Ravitch’s family. CSH remains grateful to Mr. Ravitch for his extraordinary commitment to housing justice, and we find comfort in his legacy at CSH and beyond.
