As homelessness continues to rise across the United States, communities face an urgent need for effective strategies to address this complex crisis, particularly for individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness. In light of these growing challenges, CSH is excited to offer a dynamic two-part webinar series designed to empower social service providers, municipalities, CoC Leads, housing providers, funders, and those with lived experience to work collaboratively in creating impactful solutions.
Session 1: Systematizing Your Approach to Ending Unsheltered Homelessness
In our inaugural 2-hour workshop, CSH will outline key strategies to address unsheltered homelessness through intentional, systematized efforts. We will also feature a dynamic panel discussion with systems experts and innovative service providers who are effectively addressing unsheltered homelessness in their communities. These thought leaders will share successful strategies, unique insights, and their experiences navigating the challenges of homelessness . Attendees can engage directly with our panelists during an interactive Q&A session, fostering a lively exchange of ideas and best practices.
Following the presentation and panel, CSH will facilitate an optional interactive discussion, and participants will have the opportunity to break into smaller groups for focused discussions and brainstorming sessions. This peer learning environment encourages attendees to share insights, challenge assumptions, and explore collaborative strategies that can be adapted to their unique community needs. Additionally, attendees will gain valuable exposure to CSH’s innovative products, designed specifically to support communities in effectively tackling homelessness at all levels.
Session 2: Housing-Focused Outreach and Case Management
Part Two of the Key Strategies to Tackle Unsheltered Homelessness webinar series will dive deep into housing-focused homeless outreach and case management. This session will clarify what housing-focused outreach entails, its effectiveness in combating homelessness, and how organizations can implement this approach throughout their communities’ homelessness response system. Participants will learn best practices and explore prime examples that demonstrate how to transform the fundamental philosophy of outreach and case management by focusing on housing from the outset of establishing relationships with new clients.
