As of Fall 2024, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved 27 states and Washington D.C. to use Medicaid to cover supportive housing services. While these services do not directly provide housing, they can assist health center patients who are experiencing homelessness and/or housing instability in applying and accessing housing. Details regarding these services differ significantly depending on your state. In response, CSH created a state-by-state Medicaid Housing Related Services Toolkit to answer critical questions, including how to develop, offer, and refer to these services.
Session #1 (Jan 23, 2025, 2:00 PM ET) will cover how to use the Toolkit
Session #2 (Jan 30, 2025, 2:00 PM ET) will focus on how health centers can leverage these resources to make effective patient referrals.
