Join us in educating lawmakers on the needs of Californians experiencing homelessness through Advocacy Day.
This year’s Advocacy Day will take place on March 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the California State Capitol in Sacramento.
What is Advocacy Day?
Advocacy Day offers a chance for advocates to educate legislators and their staff on the needs of Californians experiencing homelessness. We will draw attention to policy proposals that would provide ongoing state funding for affordable housing and services, protect existing state programs, and create new programs to prevent homelessness among older adults and people with disabilities. You are the expert legislators need to hear from!
Do I need prior advocacy experience?
No prior advocacy or policy experience is required to attend! CSH will provide training sessions to prepare you for Advocacy Day and you will be prepped with all the materials you need to have successful meetings with State Legislators.
Please spread the word and share this with your partners! We are excited to welcome as many passionate advocates as possible in Sacramento to help advocate for statewide solutions to end homelessness in California!
