Description:

Corporation for Supportive Housing (“CSH”) is seeking an independent contractor (“Consultant”) to provide institutional fundraising efforts and the stewardship of CSH’s supporters. The engagement will run from July 15, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with the option to extend the contract based on organizational need and Consultant availability. The Consultant will support a portfolio of program teams with the development and submission of Letters of Inquiry (“LOIs”), proposals and funder reports. The Consultant may also be assigned proposals and reports for teams outside of their portfolio on an as-needed basis.

Planned activities:

  1. Prepare concept papers/LOIs, proposals, and progress reports.
  2. Create and maintain a schedule of internal and external deadlines to ensure:
  3. Adequate time for program staff and leadership to review materials; and
  4. Timely submission of all LOIs, proposals and reports.
  5. Draft and submit assigned concept papers/LOIs, proposals, program budgets, and progress reports. The Fund Development team will serve as the primary point of contact.

Expected Outcomes, Milestones, and Deliverables:

Each LOI, proposal, and report will include:

  • A narrative aligned with funder requirements;
  • Revisions, as needed, based on CSH feedback; and
  • All completed ancillary documents, as required by the funder.

Additional LOIs, proposals, and reports beyond the twenty will require mutual written agreement on timeline and compensation.

Deliverable 2: Maintain an up‑to‑date internal tracking system and participate in a weekly 30‑minute project‑management check‑in with the assigned Fund Development manager.

Funding Available:

An amount not to exceed $60,000 is available for this project.
