What Health Centers Need to Know about CARES Act: An Interactive Resource Guide

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) was passed on March 27, 2020. The Act provides for over $2 trillion dollars in stimulus funding to combat the economic downturn due to the coronavirus pandemic. Funds were spread across the economy and included support to:

  • Direct payment to households
  • Small and large business
  • Healthcare providers
  • State and local governments

Information provided in this interactive resource guide on the CARES Act will focus on funding directed to states, local governments, and community organizations through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness.
