Health Care Benefits for Older Adults

This brief is intended for supportive housing providers serving older adults. It will help providers understand the basics about how public healthcare benefit programs, including Medicaid, Medicare, Dual-Eligibility in Medicaid and Medicare, and Veterans’ Benefits, can support older adults, and provide guidance on how providers can assist tenants in navigating these systems.
