About the Michigan Supportive Services Transformation Fund (SSTF)

The Michigan Supportive Services Transformation Fund (SSTF) will fund housing-related services for people living in supportive housing and people experiencing homelessness moving into supportive housing who need additional support to maintain housing stability.

Why Your Support Matters

Last year, 6,266 households in Michigan experienced long-term homelessness with one or more disabling condition. Services help ensure that individuals and families have access to support as they gain stability.  However, there is a $25 million gap in services funding to adequately support households in Michigan. The Michigan SSTF would address this gap by appropriating $25 million in the FY25 state budget to go directly to supportive housing providers.
