CSH forums held across the country draw hundreds of leaders in the affordable and supportive housing fields.
Butler Human Services Furniture creates furniture for community-based programs, supportive housing organizations, and healthcare and education environments. They are an Affiliated Business Partner of CSH and offer a variety of support from underwriting of a number CSH’s Supportive Housing Institutes around the country to being a sponsor of our annual CSH Supportive Housing Summit, since our very first year.
Support for CSH’s Core Services in Locations Nationally
Corporations have underwritten the cost of developing new training curriculum, guidebooks, and toolkits for supportive housing. We are happy to feature their support on all finished products.
Corporations also provide critical support for our field operations. Here are a few examples of how such support produces results.
Bank of America offers programmatic support for CSH’s work in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, and Texas as well as at the national level. Dignity Health hospitals and health centers support CSH’s lending activity as well as our Social Innovation Fund (SIF) initiative and broader Frequent User work in Los Angeles. HSBC Bank currently offers programmatic support for CSH’s work in New York and Los Angeles as well as being a key investor in the new Supportive Housing Solutions Fund. Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing is a longstanding supporter of CSH’s efforts to develop supportive housing in Ohio. Wells Fargo’s Neighborhood LIFT Program is supporting the creation of permanent, affordable housing with services for people who have been homeless in Houston and Harris County, Texas.
As a CDFI, CSH solicits corporate and philanthropic investments, which in turn allow us to offer our lending to supportive housing projects nationally. In mid-2013, CSH launched a new national loan fund, the Supportive Housing Solutions Fund, which is the first ever national loan fund dedicated solely to supportive housing and will spur the creation of over 9,500 units of supportive and affordable housing. The Fund was initiated with an investment from CSH along with the Wells Fargo NEXT Awards for Opportunity Finance, and contributions from Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, HSBC Bank, Morgan Stanley, as well as our philanthropic partners, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
