Boost Supportive housing sites in your community

Jumpstart supportive housing (SH) development with the Washington Supportive Housing Institute (SHI) premier workshop experience. The SHI offers ten days of instruction over 5 months for taking practical steps toward a supportive housing project targeted to your population and community. Supportive housing development teams will complete the SHI with a detailed development and management plan designed to successfully access capital and operating fund cycles in 2022.

Description: Please join us for an opportunity to learn more about the statewide Supportive Housing Institute (SHI) in Washington, designed to increase the state’s supply of quality supportive housing. We will focus on building the capacity of providers to develop, operate, and/or form strong partnerships with other organizations to deliver new, high-quality supportive housing developments. This webinar is appropriate for new and existing partnerships and is open to anyone interested in participating in the WA Supportive Housing Institute. A SUD supportive service provider, a housing developer/owner partner, a property management partner, and at least one individual with lived expertise representation (e.g. Peer Support Specialist) are part of the Institute teams. The deadline for applications is January 18, 2022; please join us to ask questions and learn more about if the SHI would be a good fit for your team!
