(Due November 6, 2020)
CSH seeks a consultant who has demonstrated experience in successfully gathering a broad range of input from consumers of County of San Diego Behavioral Health Services (BHS) along with family members and other community stakeholders. The consultant will work with the CSH San Diego team to develop and implement an online survey that will inform the development of a BHS Strategic Housing Plan, will assist with planned focus groups, and will assist with gathering consumer input while socially distant. Ideally, the consultant will be experienced in providing outreach to and gathering information from a variety of specific identity-based BHS communities (e.g. people experiencing homelessness, people who have recently found housing, people who have experiences with the criminal justice system, people with co-occurring disorders, and people who speak Spanish and other languages).
The project activities include:
- Assist in the development of an online survey.
- Launch, promote, and manage the online survey.
- Deliver a report on the results of the online survey.
- Assist in the development and delivery of 16 focus groups that may be held virtually or safely in a socially distant format, subject to Public Health directives.
Expected Outcomes, Milestones, and Deliverables:
The planning for the online survey and focus groups will begin in November 2020 and must be completed by April 30, 2021.
