Dr. Kem Moser
When one of our CSH family loses a loved one, we all feel the loss. Dr. Kem Charles Moser, the father of CSH Vice President Ryan Moser, passed away last Friday and our hearts are filled with sadness. Our comfort comes in paying tribute to his life of helping others.
After earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Dr. Moser served in the Public Health Service and then established a private practice in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Throughout his respected career, his devotion and caring for others was his hallmark. Dr. Moser loved people and his mission was to improve the lives of those around him: his family, his patients and his neighbors. His strong values grounded in compassion and caring mirror the motivations and convictions we bring to our work here at CSH. He loved to think, challenge, question, laugh and inspire. Most importantly, he worked hard to make a difference.
Dr. Moser was married for 45 years to his wife, Gale, who left this world much too soon just two years ago. Together, they shared with those they met a sense of purpose and the principles of peace and doing what is right and good. It is wise to remind ourselves that people like Kem and Gale Moser, who cling to a strong desire to make our world a better place, continue to inspire us.
As a tribute to Dr. Moser, his family has honored CSH by designating our organization as a recipient of memorial contributions in his name.
In line with his lifelong commitment to health, funds contributed in memory of Dr. Moser will be used for CSH work to generate supportive housing opportunities for people with complex and significant health needs.
CSH would like to extend our condolences to Dr. Moser's loved ones and express our gratitude for their generosity. Above all else, we celebrate his life of giving.
