Illinois Supportive and Integrated Housing Symposium

The IL Supportive & Integrated Housing Symposium brought together leaders in the field from across Illinois to learn, network, and advance our shared work. Over 200 people attended this event that included training sessions and an awards luncheon. The symposium honored our shared commitment to provide quality supportive and integrated housing in order to serve vulnerable populations, improve communities and leverage needed resources.

The morning and afternoon featured training sessions on topics ranging from serving Veterans to learning about when to bill Medicaid. Please see links below for training materials.

302_panel_2014During the luncheon, a panel discussion was moderated by IL Director Betsy Benito with CSH staff including (pictured left to right) IL Associate Director, Christine Haley; Innovations Director, Janette Kawachi; and Minnesota Director George Stone. The discussion addressed the pay for success model, healthcare, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, and intervening with  families engaged in the Child Welfare system.

Following this esteemed panel, awards were given to true champions of supportive housing.
