Remembering and Celebrating the Life and Work of Carol Walter

From Connecticut Coalition To End Homelessness:

The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) is holding an open house to celebrate the work, life, and legacy of its beloved Director, Carol Walter who passed away on December 27th after a very brief illness. Carol, who was only 53, grew up in Bloomfield, and worked in homeless shelters across Connecticut. Carol became Executive Director at CCEH in 2006, where she sparked radical change in our state’s approach to homelessness. Join us and her family in following her bright star ahead, continuing her work together.

“Carol was a tireless advocate for the homeless and friend and inspiration to many of us at CSH.  Her passion and commitment will leave a lasting legacy not only here in CT but in the world.  Carol will be missed,” says Sarah Gallagher, CSH Director in Connecticut.

Friday, January 4th, 2-5 PM
