AB 2266, which would take advantage of an Affordable Care Act option to fund supportive housing services, recuperative care, and other "health home" programs, passed the Senate Appropriations Committee, the last major hurdle in passing the Legislature.
Chances of getting the Governor's signature on any bill this year, though, are precarious. We need your help to convince the Governor that "health home" services--like case management, care coordination, and other services supportive housing has provided for decades--are essential to reducing Medi-Cal costs and saving lives.
- Take 10 minutes to urge the Governor to support AB 2266. Use CSH's sample letter to send an e-mail and fax a letter.
- Contact Sharon Rapport, Associate Director, California Policy at CSH to take further steps.
We have no hope of making this bill law without your help!
