Ribbon Cutting in Richmond, Indiana

The Redwood Terrace Apartments opened in Richmond, Indiana, offering 60 one-bedroom apartments. This energy efficient development is situated on 13 acres which include a designated walking/jogging path, bike rack and native trees and plantings.

This new complex will help bridge the gap in residential facilities for individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and are able to maintain an independent living arrangement but do not have access to decent housing. Most apartment residents will receive mental health treatment and counseling, along with other services as needed, and the apartment complex is staffed 24 hours a day. The Richmond team, including Centerstone and the Richmond Housing Authority, graduated from the Indiana Supportive Housing Institute in 2009.
