Ground Breaking in Kokomo, Indiana

The Family Service Association and their partners broke ground on Jackson Street Commons, a 27 unit supportive housing development for Veterans in Kokomo. Mayor Greg Goodnight stated that this will not be the biggest or most expensive project, but it will be the most important for the community.

The Kokomo 2011 Supportive Housing Institute team was comprised of staff from the Family Service Association, Indiana Housing Consultants, BA Martin Architects, Howard County Veterans Service Office, St. Joseph Hospital, Howard Regional Health Systems, and Gilead House. This strong set of partners has found great support from the city of Kokomo and Howard County.
