Rhode Island: Catalyst for Change
Transforming Philosophy, Reforming Policy, Investing in the Solution

CSH-RI provides capacity building grants to organizations; funding for advocacy and systems change; pilot programs including Presumptive Eligibility/Expedited SSI, service enhancement for the state’s Housing First Pilot Program and certification for 13 agencies to become “Ready to Rent” trainers.

CSH-RI couples predevelopment and acquisition lending with consulting and direct technical assistance to support agencies in the development, property management and service components of supportive housing.  CSH-RI has made loans to Community Development Corporations (CDC), homeless housing developers, service providers and non-profit developers across the state of Rhode Island.
