Welcome to CSH - Illinois!

The CSH-Illinois office works with our public and private partners throughout the state to increase the availability of supportive housing for persons who are homeless. Since 1992, CSH Illinois has committed more than $21.6 million in grants, loans and consultant services to 158 projects that developed 8,624 units of supportive housing. These units provide a desperately needed resource that has literally transformed the lives of their tenants by moving them from homelessness to housing.
CSH's work in Illinois include collaborating with communities and organizations across the state to providing financial and technical assistance to our partners to expand the supply, availability and variety of supportive housing; promoting policy reforms and coordinated systems that make supportive housing easier to develop and operate; enhancing the supportive housing industry's skills and knowledge to expand its capacity to deliver high-quality housing and services over the long term; and documenting and publicizing supportive housing's positive impacts on tenants, communities and neighborhoods, as well as how it efficiently uses public resources.
CSH Illinois would like to thank the following sponsors for their generous support of our programs:
