CSH Minnesota Program
The Corporation for Supportive Housing opened its Minnesota office in May 1993 at the invitation of local funders, service providers and government officials.
Since coming to Minnesota, CSH has:

Provided technical assistance and $13 million in funding to develop nearly 3,000 new units of supportive housing in Minnesota.

Lead efforts to secure new resources to help create and operate supportive housing. Most recently, $30 million dollars in 501(c)3 bonding dollars were appropriated from the Legislature to be used for capital for new long-term homeless units..

Provided capacity building assistance to more than 100 Minnesota organizations.

Conceived and initiated the Minnesota Supportive Housing Demonstration Program, Minnesota Supportive Housing Consortium, and Hearth Connection program.

Helped coordinate and fund the first ever Wilder Research survey of homelessness on Minnesota Indian reservations.

Created the American Indian Supportive Housing Initiative (AISHI) as a means of helping tribes and Indian communities across the state address homelessness in Indian Country and increase their capacity to create supportive housing.
