Transition-Aged Youth Providers Convenings in LA
CSH is collaborating with the Child Welfare Initiative (CWI) to convene providers of Transition Age Youth (TAY) services and housing to develop a comprehensive service model of best practices, including developmentally appropriate programs, case planning, and housing options for TAY populations.
TAY providers from the collaborative have been sharing expertise, experiences, and suggestions for system changes to better meet the unique needs of this target population. The group has been exploring a range of housing options for youth, including permanent supportive housing.
CSH and CWI are working with stakeholders to create and increase TAY permanent supportive housing opportunities in Los Angeles as a means of preventing and ending homelessness among transition-age youth.
