CSH is a certified Community Development Financial Institution helping communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic States create permanent housing with services to prevent and end homelessness.
CSH in the Mid-Atlantic states is implementing FUSE as a groundbreaking, structured, demonstration initiative with a goal to place 50 individuals into permanent supportive housing
CSH developed a financial model and program plan for the District, which was adopted by Mayor Adrian Fenty as the District’s Permanent Supportive Housing Unit Generation Plan serving as the foundation for creating and funding new units.
CSH worked with Baltimore County to help create their 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness. Unknown at the time, eventually, this request would inspire a transformation in public policy planning that CSH now employs in communities across the country.
CSH provided a grant and technical assistance to Open Arms Inc. for the development and operation of The Dunbar, a 16-unit permanent support housing project in Washington, DC.
