Opportunities that CSH Offers Corporate Partners

CSH is proud to count some of the country’s leading corporations among our partners in our effort to advance solutions that use housing as a platform to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people. There is a wide range of ways that corporations have partnered with CSH from sponsorship of events to investments in our loan funds.

Regional Conferences

CSH forums held across the country each draw hundreds of leaders in the affordable and supportive housing industries.

  • Butler Woodcrafters creates furniture for community-based programs, supportive housing organizations, and healthcare and education environments. Butler Woodcrafters has just signed on to become an Affiliated Business Partner of CSH and has offered a variety of kinds of support from underwriting of a number CSH’s Supportive Housing Institutes around the country to a sponsorship for several of our CSH Summits.

Training Series

Through our Supportive Housing Training Center, CSH offers training series in locations all around the country. These trainings provide exposure to housing developers, human service providers, public agencies, and other stakeholders.

Product Development

Corporations have underwritten the cost of developing new training curriculum, guidebooks, and toolkits for supportive housing. We are happy to feature their support on all finished products.

Support for CSH’s Core Services in Locations Nationally

Corporations also provide critical support for our operations in locations across the U.S. Here are a few examples of supporters for our work:

Loan Programs

As a CDFI, CSH solicits loan investments which in turn allow us to offer our lending to supportive housing projects nationally. In mid-2013, CSH launched a new national loan fund, the Supportive Housing Solutions Fund, which is the first ever national loan fund dedicated solely to supportive housing, and will spur the creation of over 9,500 units of supportive and affordable housing over the next ten years.   The Fund was initiated with an investment from CSH along with the Wells Fargo NEXT Awards for Opportunity Finance, and contributions from Bank of America , Deutsche Bank, HSBC Bank, Morgan Stanley, as well as our philanthropic partners, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
